The research aimed to measure the impact of the use of electronic educational platforms "Edmodo" in teaching home economics on the development of some habits of  mind and achievement among middle school students; To achieve this, one of the home economics units scheduled for the second preparatory grade was reformulated, which is the “productive family” unit using the electronic educational platforms “Edmodo”, and a teacher’s guide and activity booklet were prepared for the students, an achievement test and a scale for the habits of the productive mind were prepared, and the test was applied The scale was measured before and after the study sample, which consisted of two experimental and control groups, each of 30 students, and the unit was taught using electronic educational platforms "Edmodo" for the experimental group and in the usual way for the control group, and the research concluded that teaching the unit using electronic educational platforms "Edmodo" has an effect. Effective in the development of both achievement and habits of mind, and the research recommended the need to expand the use of electronic learning environments in teaching various courses, and the need to pay attention to the development of habits of mind related to the study of home economics because of its great role in overcoming the problems and life situations common among students.
